Whoah! Wait a moment!

The YhooMAZE launched 4 days ago and we ALREADY have 150 downloads! How great!

Two bits of news now; The good and the bad, lets start with the good; We’ve launched our NEW micro-blog. (Like twitter, and you can catch up with the news there FAST). Sign up and make an account today. (Oh, and PLEASE click some of the Google ads, its not much to ask for giving you free games and services ‘ey?). The bad news; The blog will now only be updated Weekly, with posts of a minimum of 500 words. But, the new website compensates for it we think!
So, on this new flashy website, you can catch up with the staff members, “Stalk” them and recive all their updates and post your own! You have 200 letters (including spaces) to play with, so word things carefully. You can add links, photos and locations as to where your posting from! How Awesome!? Yhooyee feel this is better then their previous project “Meyye”, a full social networking website. http://www.yhoochat.tk

The game server BackLance is back up, and the whole crew will be OOF! (Out of office!) for the next two days (Until Monday 18th May) hopefully the server won’t go down again!

We’ve added a text box to the right of this page, so you can see when the server for BackLance is up, and down.
In other news, the server will be taken offline for 1 hour at 12pm today (GMT) for maintanance. Sorry for any inconvieniance.

YGEI Ratings.

What is a YGEI rating?
Well, YGEI stands for Yhooyee Gaming Entertainment Interactive. This rating is a mark of approval for our games, and who should be playing them.

How are these games rated?
The games are first rated on oppinion of the Yhooyee staff, then compared to other games in simalar markets, and then users can have an input into the ratings.

Why introduce this?
We wanted our own rating system, as we felt we’re not big enough for the PEGI and the ESRB to rate our games. We also wanted to be independant.

How do I have my thoughts on the game rating?

Where are the ratings?
The ratings will be found under the development page in the next 24 hours.

BackLance open Alpha

You can now download the online BackLance ALPHA game.
It contains just 2 zones, Faycliff and Snowvale.
You can attack NPCs’, make your own accounts and interact with other players.

To interact with a game master (if you need help) type ”/petition” followed by your issue.
A GM will contact you.

Your controls (to begin with) are W, S, A, and D you can change these on the start up screen.
Your volume is max to begin with. You can change this on the start up screen.
You have to accept Yhooyees end user licence agreement on startup.
You have to enter your email address and make a user account and password.

PLEASE NOTE; AT THIS TIME WE HAVE NO ACCOUNT RECOVERY SYSTEMS.
IF YOU FORGET OR GIVE AWAY YOUR PASSWORD, PLEASE EMAIL US FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU SIGNED UP WITH, SO WE CAN SUSSPEND YOUR ACCOUNT TO STOP ANYONE ELSE ACSESSING IT.

There are no items in game, and the game is very unstable.
THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT, THIS IS A ALPHA TEST.

The game will be open for 3 months between the times of; Monday – Thursday: 5pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday; 11am – 9pm
(No gaurentees are given, if the server is down, we will do our best to a) get it back up and b) tell you whats wrong here)

You’ve been mailing us your questions all week so we thought we’d finally answer them!

At Adam - Are you going to make a car game?
Adam - …are you being sireous?

At Adam – Are you making a game for ps3 and things like that?
Adam – Nope, none other then Windows at the moment, our technology knowlage doesn’t breach that far yet. Also, the CDs’ and production costs will be too high.

At Gemma – Will you go out with me?
Adam – *Wets himself laughing*!
Gemma - Adam! Its not funny! Anyway, the answer is a NO.
Adam – *Laughs More* (Note; This laughing fit went on for well over 15 minutes)

Source code?

Many have asked for the souce code for our games, although it IS included in the files for the games, we’re not telling you what file to find it in, and what that code is.
Reasons because we’re not releasing the code are; Hacking. Gah, hate then people. Private servers. Meaning you can play a server all on your own. Editing of the game. Meaning you can move things arround, and possibly break them.
